Able Safety Consulting - 32 Hour Lift Director course Requirements

As part of the release of the 2022 construction code on November 7^th, 2022 the department of buildings will be authorizing a new 32-Hour Lift Director course for all workers applying for registration as a lift director or licensure as a master rigger. The deadline for these applicants to receive the training is November 7^th, 2022.

The current rule RCNY 3319-02 mandates that a lift director be present at a construction site while a crane or derrick is performing certain tasks.

The course requirements for this class have still not been released. Once the department of buildings authorizes training providers to begin providing this course we will be adding class dates to ablesafety.com
